| The hallway: the light fixture is the only good bargain I located at the Brookings ReStore, the bookcase is the masterpiece of Dad whom I conned into creating such a thing from a magazine picture, the wainscotting is from a craigslist transaction. |

That looks seriously aweseome. I love the rich colors! What kind of paint did you use?
we used mostly Laura Ashley (from the clearance discontinued shelf at the hardware store)...since we are, after all, more than half Dutch between the two of us.
