Thanks to their very capable aunt, Priya and Sam have a craft to show for. Left to their mother's craft skills, they might not even have heard of glue and scissors, except for the mending of things they break.

Since it is so cold today, Anneka is modeling Sam's old bomber hat in the house. Poor third child gets left with wrong-gendered hand-me-downs.

Looking on the bright side, which at the very least it was today, the frost etching is on the outside of the window and it will melt eventually. The real and permanent glass etching is up above on the inside. And even when the breezes blow through, it's a small price to pay for their 80-year old character.
However, the frost IS on the inside in this window here on the north side of the house. Just another perk of living in the Midwest in the winter...

Those are actually really cute crafts! (And kids!)

We have a sliding glass door in our bedroom that is the bane of my existence--frost all OVER the inside of it last night/today. I see you all are dressed in the multiple layer thing today too!
